Martin High School Girls Golf​

Coach Wylie begins his 25th year in education as the new Head Girls Golf Coach. This will be Coach Wylie’s third stop at Martin High School. A Martin graduate and football/ baseball coach at MHS from 1997 – 2002.

 

Coach Wylie is a graduate of Stephen F. State University with a Masters of Education in Kinesiology.  Previous coaching stops: Bailey Jr High (AISD), as mentioned Martin HS, Summit HS (MISD), Howard MS (MISD) & the last 11 years spent at Mansfield High School.

 

Coach Wylie and his wife Jill have been married for 25 years. Jill is the Girls Athletic Coordinator at Wester Middle School in Mansfield. The Wylie’s have two children. Layne is in her second year at TCC. She was a 3-year letterman in golf at Mansfield HS. Jaxon is an 8th grader at Worley MS in Mansfield. He enjoys participating in all sports.

 

Coach Wylie enjoys the fact that golf is dependent on character and integrity. “What other sport do you call a penalty on yourself?” Character, integrity and accountability are core values that will carry student athletes well beyond their school years.
